About Me
My name is Janet Simmons.
I am a Level 2 Quantum Healing Hypnosis Practitioner. Originally from Parry Sound, ON, Canada, I moved to the Bath/Trowbridge area of England in 2001.
Spirituality and healing have always been central in my life. Despite pursuing political science at the University of Toronto then working at The London School of Journalism, my fascination with spirituality persisted and I eagerly delved into spiritual literature alongside my academic pursuits. A profound interest in the power of the mind led me to earn a diploma in Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy from the Centre Training International School of Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy in 2004. While hypnotism intrigued me, it did not fully satisfy my desire to explore the depths of the spiritual realm.
A significant turning point occurred when my children were born, and my husband's work moved our family to Myanmar for half of each year. Embracing the role of homeschooling our children, this new chapter allowed me the time to embark on a personal journey. Along this path, I obtained certification as a Yoga Teacher in 2012 under the guidance of Claire Murphy and Bruce Bowditch. My commitment to healing led me to become a Bowen Technique Practitioner through the College of Bowen Studies in 2020. Yet, a persistent sense of spiritual yearning continued to linger, urging me to seek healing at a deeper level.
Immersing myself in books on spirituality, meditation, and healing, I casually tuned into Dolores Cannon's content on YouTube over many years. However, it wasn't until I discovered her hypnosis technique that my understanding of holistic and spiritual healing underwent a profound transformation. Exploring her work firsthand, I experienced its transformative impact and pursued training in her methods, becoming a Level 2 QHHT practitioner. Now, I am dedicated to sharing this journey with others seeking physical, emotional, and spiritual healing and growth.
